My recent stay at My House Guest House left me with mixed feelings regarding luxury versus value. the room was satisfactory, meeting basic expectations for a short stay. the comfortable bed and clean linen were notable, ensuring a decent night's sleep. However, the noise from the nearby Tavern was disruptive, hindering the relaxation one seeks on a getaway. In terms of amenities, the guesthouse offered secure parking and hot water, but lacked certain facilities like ironing amenities and free toiletries. the location, though close to Pretoria CBD, may not suit those looking for a tranquil environment. As a wildlife conservationist, I seek accommodation that aligns with my values of sustainability and conservation. While the guesthouse met basic needs, I would recommend considering other options for a more serene and upscale experience.
